Description

Silicone-impregnation for concrete,

brickwork and other mineral substrates

ATYS-PC-706 is a concentrate of silicone-micro-emulsions. Diluted with water, it serves as a water-repellent impregnation with good penetration.

As an impregnation for mineral substrates, as concrete and rendering surfaces, natural- and man-made stone, limestone, aerated concrete, brickwork of non-vitrified bricks, fiber cement, mineral paint coats etc. against driving rain and water saturation.

In combination with a top coat of e.g. Elastic paint 680, ATYS-PC-706 is mainly used to protect facades and exposed concrete or cement rendering surfaces of bridges, pavements etc. against the risk of damage caused by freeze/thaw cycles.

Hydrophobing primer underneath Elastic paint 680 and Elastic paint on concrete or cement mortar surfaces for heavy exposure.

Please note: In cases where the brickwork contains salts (efflorescence), ATYS-PC-706 cannot penetrate well enough into the pores of the substrate, so that still more efflorescence may occur in spite of hydrophobing.

Do not use on green concrete younger than 28 days.
